My family lived very modestly when I was young: my parents always reused and repurposed whatever they could. Although we didn’t live with abundance, we spent much of our time with family and friends, and I felt like we enjoyed our lives so much living like that rather than worrying about what we HAD.
As I grew up and moved to North America, my focus over time changed to “success = what I own”. Once I had my own kids, I started feeling burdened by the “stuff”. I realized I needed to simplify. When I started organizing and reducing what I owned, I found I started enjoying my life, family and friends more.
I started Firefly Bridge Organizing because I want to share that with other moms going through the same by teaching them how to organize and simplify.
