I grew up watching my mom work hard as a teacher, go to school at night to pursue her doctorate and yet still have time every day for her family and give back to her community on the weekends. She was my Linda Carter (you know the original wonder woman).  When I was 30 and pregnant with my first child, in corporate America as employee #12266, I realized I was not going to be around much for my kids if I stayed on this track.   Immediately after my child was born my boss asked me to come back to work one month early from maternity leave. That was the wake-up call I needed. It was that day that I gave my notice and set out to pursue my dream as a she-boss applying all my years of high-level marketing experience to help small businesses and non-profit organizations find their voice in this overstimulated and noisy world.
