Prior to practicing in the area of aesthetics, I was a registered nurse for more than 18 years. I worked in trauma, critical care, and hospital education. In 2007, I earned my Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) degree from Florida International University. I then started my practice under the tutelage of a highly respected dermatologist and became certified in the specialty of derma-fillers and neurotoxins.

Through my experiences, I amassed extensive experience in laser therapy, matrix treatments and stem cell therapy. In 2015, I was selected as a top nurse practitioner by the International Nurse Association and was featured in the 2015 edition of worldwide leaders in health. Luz Ma Aesthetics was conceived as a way of helping people realize their inner beauty by maximizing the client’s full potential. I recently, relocated to Pinecrest from my first practice in Coral Gables. My clients followed me to the new location with much fanfare. I routinely seek out new techniques and am constantly researching and attending continuing education to perfect my art.
