My father went from a well-known architect in Chile to a business owner in America. He opened a karate studio because as a child, karate helped him focus his energy. The dojo was his pride and joy. And so, when he was diagnosed with lung cancer, we decided that I would take over the family business.

For 20 years I have taught children and adults in Pinecrest with the values my father taught me: unbending will and undying commitment to my students. 2020 has been the most challenging year our business has faced due to COVID-19. We have implemented all of the safety measures recommended by the CDC, including a new a state-of-the-art ventilation system to keep my students safe.
